Location: Central Vancouver Island.
Seen some guys use those canisters( the pump type that builds pressure) and adapt the end to get the right flow. Those canisters are usually used for weed killer etc.

yes, I know about their unit, but for a number of reasons we have to build our own.
We can access the stainless pressure tanks, air cylander and trolly, but the valves, guages etc. for flow control are what we really need to have the plans for.

So a power recovery wash cart. I can post a pic of a homemade one to help.Two regulators and two pop cans. Pratt spells out pressures and mix.

I just used a bucket of water, a sponge, and some detergent. Look how clean she is! YMMV

I'll have a go at this.
You'll need two pressure tanks, one for wash, one for rinse. An air pressure regulator with gauge to pressurize said tanks, and 3 valves, ball valves work best. As well as whatever plumbing you'll need
The regulator is plumbed to both tanks, you can use valves to isolate each tank if you want, but not required.
The oulets of the tanks to the wash nozzle will basically come to a tee. The center of the tee will be the outlet to the wash nozzle and will have one ball valve on it to turn the fluid on/off. The other sides of the tee will come from their respective tanks, each one having their own valve.
Assuming you've only used the 3 valves, ensure they are closed and your tanks sealed. Attach your shop air/nitrogen and adjust the regulator to whatever your manual states. Open the valve from the tank you wish to use (it helps to label them), and when you're ready to wash/rinse, open the center valve to the nozzle.
Best I can do off the top of my head without a picture or cart to look at. I'm sure others here can add to this.

It helps.. Unfortuantely, we have the same problem...nothing to look at, so the issue is with the pressure guages and hoses, fittings etc. Which is why I was hoping someone might have plans.
We have two very nice stainless tanks, pressure bottle. Just need to make the cart and hook it all up so it works smoothly and at the right volumes and pressures...`

Not sure what engines you're working on. I'm mostly PT6. For what it's worth, the PT6 maintenance manual has a description and schematic for a wash rig and compressor wash ring.

Yep,PT6 with wash rings.i had to make the example in the manual for one aircraft until a ring was fitted.used copper and ball valve. The cart has two simple air regulators and pop 19 liter canisters.ardrox is the solution.
