FltPlan.com in Mexico
Flying down to Mexico in a couple of days. Going to be doing several flights within Mexico. I know filing into Mexico from Canada or the US using FltPlan.com is no problem. Just wondering if anybody has used it to file Mexico domestic pairings, and if so, what was the result?
Re: FltPlan.com in Mexico
In my experience, it doesn't work. It'll work for the first leg into Mexico, but not for the domestic legs. When you land at each airport, you usually have to file the standard paper flight plan (Plan De Vuelo) with the help of a local (often the FBO). One time we used a handler and sent all the flight plan info prior to the flight. When we arrived, in both locations, the handlers wanted us to verify all the info on the paper form before they submitted it. Kind of a pain in the rear, expect a slight delay as a result of this.

Maybe look at www.bajabushpilots.com and what they offer for support. I think it costs $39. Per year. They also offer mex. aircraft insurance, ifr and Vfr charts, airport diagrams etc.
Some good stories in the forums as well.
