Re: Identify This Aircraft
It pays to friends in "high" places. Just love those staggerwings. D17S Pratt&Whitney 985 CF-BKQ Whitehorse, Yukon. Something about the difference in the engine cowling length and shape and the fairing into the fuselage?? Denotes the model letter??

Re: Identify This Aircraft
That big yellow BE17 look alike is 985 powered and all composite construction kit plane..but I can't think of the name...
Re: Identify This Aircraft
Clearly inspired by the Staggerwing, it is indeed a kit-built aircraft. Designed to carry six people at 190-kt cruise, with a mid-50 kt stall speed. It is powered by the Pratt & Whitney R-985 450-hp radial. The kit is no longer in production. I'll let you determine the identity.

Well old friend, as you're no doubt aware, steam power has the advantage of consistent power output regardless of density altitude. The downside is, that output is quite small.

Actually it's Mk. 4 built by CC&F (Canadian Car & Foundry of Fort William, Ontario. It's manufacturer's designation is CCF-4. The R.C.A.F. had done away with Roman numerals being used to distinguish the Marks (Mk.) of new R.C.A.F. aircraft types prior to the introduction of the Harvard Mk. 4 to service with the R.C.A.F. on the 2nd of November 1951.
Cheers...Chris

Only 17 C-46E models were built with a "Stepped Nose" and squared off wing tips.

Correct LiS, you're up.
And you didn't get the answer from the properties function of the pic either.
