Hi everyone. I just received the following email to my Junk folder today from "Air Canada Flight Ops" inviting me for an interview. The thing is, I haven't updated my resume there for almost a year. As well, wouldn't they call my asking if I was still interested and then offer me a choice of dates? At least that's what they did with me for Jazz. It just seems a little fishy to me. Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello,
Air Canada is calling you for an interview.
Please reply to this email - first come, first served. All testing and interviews are completed in Toronto.
We suggest that you provide a 1st and 2nd choice in dates. Due to the highly competitive nature of our recruitment and selection process, we are unable to reschedule your interview if you cancel on short notice. Therefore, please ensure your availability on the dates you have selected.
If you would like to be interviewed in French, please reply to this email and notify us of that choice and we will get back to you with our availability. Please note, the interview will take place in Montreal, but you will still be required to come to Toronto for your testing.
If you are not interested or unable to proceed with an interview at this time, please reply to this email as a courtesy to us, stating that you have declined the opportunity to interview and we will place this in your file for recording purposes.

Once we have confirmed a date, we will send you an email with ALL details including directions to our facility in Toronto, what to bring to your interview, how to make flight arrangements if required (courtesy of Air Canada), and a list of frequently asked questions.
**Please Note**
We are aware that coaching programs are being offered by third party companies on Air Canada's pilot interview questions. Please be advised that Air Canada does not endorse any agencies that prepare candidates for our interviews. Candidates who arrive for an interview with prepared answers provided by such agencies are easily recognized and will be assessed accordingly. Interview questions are changed at regular intervals. Providing 'canned' answers will likely result in a poor assessment of your suitability as an Air Canada pilot.
Please reply at your earliest convenience,
Thanks,
Jeff Pullan

Re: Spam Interview Email?
The note added on is new I think. I'm glad those who show up with their bought answers from a 4 or 5 hundred buck "professional" consultant are getting found out and seeing a PFO. Nice to see AC is prefering people who can come up with there own thoughts in the interview.
