Anyone recently written the INRAT exam and can provide any feedback regarding the questions. Are they similar to the ones in the Aerocourse Workbook and what are the main areas they like to ask.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: INRAT Exam Feedback
Lots of GPS questions, know your weather charts and how to read them, comms failures, pitot/static blockages and how they affect Instrument readings, some VOR and ADF calculations.
Re: INRAT Exam Feedback
I wrote the exam two years ago and and did very well. The exam was straight forward but if you take any advice READ THE QUESTION TWICE ..... Like Shamrock said that covered most of it. There was one question on reporting points on my exam and there was no right answer. I complained and they may have corrected it. But what Shamrock says covers the lot. I think they give you a Cap Gen. Make sure you are looking at the right GFA. Good luck..... OH AND READ THE QUESTIONS...
Re: INRAT Exam Feedback
I wrote mine 4 months ago.
To add to what Shamrock said. I had a question about cold air temperature corrections, and a few about GPS overlays. Make sure you know how to read the CAPs. I did have a portion of the CAP GEN, alternate weather minima, but no legends.
Also what I found irritating are the GFA questions. They like to give you a point that's between two or three possible weather phenomena, and you have to choose. According to TC, I still don't know how to read a GFA, so choose wisely!
