Gas Buddy for 100LL

Post by Woxof38 »

came upon this site. http://100ll.b4.ca/
I guess it's only as good as people contribute. I'm sure there are others out there too.

Thanks Woxof38, I wasn't going to announce 100LL myself but don't mind if others do... I'm keen for it to grow via word-of-mouth. To be precise, the site is actually http://www.100ll.ca (that's 100-lima-lima, not 100-one-one). It's currently domain-forwarded to a subdomain on my personal site until I can gauge the level of interest. If it takes off, it will move to its own full domain. Updates are also being posted on twitter, follow @100llca for updates.

It's been growing for about 4 months now, I rolled it out to the local (BC Lower mainland) clubs in January and have let word of mouth spread it since then. I'm open to suggestions for improvements during this development phase... I spent a lot of time getting the airport info pages working right, so if you see any errors let me know via the site. Airport data is current on the same 56-day cycle as the CFS.

It's quite remarkable, I agree. Keep in mind the "last updated" column before you get too surprised though. Some of the outliers in the pricing aspire from a couple of months back (or more). Even looking at recent prices though, the spread is significant.
