Schedules

Post by frustrated69 »

Just wondering what kind of schedules other maintenance shops are running out there.
Smallish 703 Operations (5-10 airplanes) with own AMO.
How many guys and what ratio licenced to apprentices?
What kind of schedules?

Schedules? In my experience, there are no real schedules in GA maintenance shops. Just the flight schedule that trumps all else.
And rarely are there enough fully compentent AMEs to go around to comfortably keep tabs on tasks and keep things moving.

10 airplanes,5 mechanics, lots of money,4 engineers and one apprentice.8 to 4:30 with overtime when required. It has taken a lot of work to get to this point but it is a unique operation.
