Along with your notes to teach a pgi if and when you have a flight test to perform such as a class 4 flight instructor flight test can you alos use online notes such as some diagrams along with your own notes?

I was wondering as I will be renewing my instructor rating and I have found some nice notes and diagrams and was wondering if the flight test examiner is going to tell me "you can't use these".

any thoughts?

If they are relevant and used in conjunction with your own notes, sure you can use them.
When is your renewal?

Just make sure that when the fancy technology doesn't
work, you have a backup plan.

After you get some more experience, you will probably
realize that all you really need is a whiteboard and a model
aircraft.

Once you delve into Special Relativity (which I admit is truly
fascinating) you really aren't doing PGI any more - you're
teaching a groundschool, which actually isn't what you're
supposed to be doing on an Instructor flight test.

Concentrate on telling the student what he needs to do
in the aircraft, to make the airplane perform the task at
hand (eg steep turn, etc). Stick to WHAT we're going
to do in the aircraft, and HOW we're going to do it.

Once you start discussing WHY, you might as well go
get your PhD in Philosophy.

Something to be aware of also. At some point most things online disappear. One day you go to asite and it's not there.
