To All Star Wars Fans!

Post by Cool Rythms! »

How many Star Wars fans are out there in the flying community? What are your thoughts or comments, on the upcoming episode, "Revenge Of The Sith"? How do you feel it will end? How long do you think the lineup will be to get into the cinema?

I was a kid when the original came out. When was that, '76 or'77?

I remember waiting outside a theatre in Halifax on my little brothers birthday with a pack of our young friends and my Mom. It was an amazing display of special effects for those times.

God, I'm getting old.

I think my favourite episode, was "Empire Strikes Back". Awesome special effects in that one! But I'm anxious to see what this new one is like, with todays special effects technology. :)

i went to see the midnight screening of star wars tonight..

unfortunately one of my friends was kicked out of the theater by some over zealous rent-a-cops for muttering some profanity under his breath as he walked by the woman making a very late announcement to the audience about the 1 hour delay we just sat through.

needless to say after some lengthy discussions with the manager we got our money back plus some passes to see the movie another time :)

as we left to meet our friend at his car at 1:30am they had just started showing the movie.

Well I saw it... it was okay. Better than I expected, and better than the previous two. Worth watching if you're a Star Wars fan, anyway!

The dialogue between Darth Vader and Princess Leia Sr. hasn't improved, though. "Oh Anakin (sp?), you're breaking my heart!" Yoda kicks ass, though! :D

i said that to the manager with the security guards clad in black standing behind her.. "your stormtroopers here throughout our friend".

i guess the theater hired some security for the night (8 theaters showing the movie simultaneously at midnight). one of the guys was this scrawny looking kid who was wearing body amour
