Fire trucks at the airport around 8 am today. Pilot was pulled out of his plane which was partly on fire. Flown by helicopter to hospital.

Any idea what kind of plane it was? Reports seem to be converging on a two-place amateur-built scale replica of some kind. I suspect it was just a two-place homebuilt with a warbird-like paint scheme, but don't know what planes are based over there at Pitt.
