Interesting bit of politics in that request for our guys to look into this matter in US territory, dealing with high profile ramifications. An arm's length relationship should make for a "clean" investigation.

Quite a feather in the cap of us Canucks, BUT ... there will be some really miffed people in both of the US administrations over the results and the conduct of the investigation.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at some of those briefing sessions.

For an airplane with only one wing, there seems to be remarkably little damage to that Warrior. Not even enough deformation that you couldn't open the door. And the pilot survived. Miraculously, I would think.

I wondered too, what sort of glidepath a one-winged aircraft would have had.
Quite remarkable no matter how you look at it though.
