Citation 500, 550, S550, Bravo Type Course seats available

Post by trin86 »

We are trying to gauge any interest in running a Citation type course to cover the 500, 550, 550 Bravo and S550 models. The course would take place in Calgary and is a 10 day initial course with no prerequisite for 560 training. For anyone out there affected by the recent SAIT debacle, this course would not only reinstate all the lost privileges, but would also cover the Bravo series 550 as well. The course would run by CAE Simuflite by one of their approved instructors and cost would run around the $5000 mark plus instructor costs(food and hotel so an additional ~$1000 depending on number of students) CAE requires 4 students to put the course on, but a maximum of 10 students will be accepted. We have 2 confirmed students at this time and are looking to fill the remaining seats. If you're interested please email Geoff at gguccione03@gmail.com or reply here. Thanks

Sorry about the delayed response! There was a type course run by SAIT a few years ago that was supposed to have been a 560 course with 500,550 and S550 differences. Somewhere between 20 and 30 students were run through the course only to find out last year that SAIT hadn't gotten TC approval for the differences and all of the students had their 500,550,S550 privileges rescinded. It's been over a year now since we found out about this issue and SAIT has yet to correct it. A few of us have given up and decided to contract CAE Simuflite to come to Calgary Aug 20th, 2012 and put on an approved course.

How are you making out generating some industry interest with your course offering?
