Hi there
A quick question for a current or ex-Bearskin pilot: what is the average upgrade time at the Bear?
I heard some horror stories about waiting for up to 5 years on the right seat before being promoted and just wanted to validate.

Just over a year ago the upgrade time was 2 1/2 - 3 years. With the movement over the past year the upgrade time is under two years at this point. Right now its about 20 months - 2 years.

Upgrades depend a lot on who's hiring in the big leagues. If all the captains get DASH or 737 course dates, "battlefield" upgrades have been known to happen pretty fast.

Few years ago it took my class 1 year to upgrade.
