There is nothing funny about this landing, though. Taxiway Alpha is actually wide and long, so one day somebody may be confused.

But it's funny, when Waterloo tower asks a gyroplane to land directly on the apron! Shame on them :oops:

How bout the poor old fella that landed on the taxi way only half built in CYMM! Imagine confusing that for an active runway....

I remember being told about somebody landing on "25 left" years ago. It's not that surprising, alpha is longer and wider than lots of runways at small airports around here. How you miss the even wider surface just to the right is the part that makes you scratch your head.
