Doing it the "right way" with the most experienced
pilot (Tim) lead. Eric is #2, I'm #3.
Eric got his solo & formation @ 500 ICAS SAC
card in June, and joined a small, elite club (of
which I am not a member) of airshow pilots
that flew their first solo/formation aerobatic
airshows as teenagers. There might be 10
SAC card holders in all of Canada.
Tim has been flying airshows since the 1950's.
When dignitaries would arrive at the base, the
CO would ask him to take up a T-33 and perform
some low-altitude aerobatics. T-33 did a decent
tumble, which blew the tip tank vents and made
pretty trails.
