Rest in peace Paul, you were definitely of the "good guys". Condolences to Jen, his family, and anyone from Yellowknife or Air Tindi who had the pleasure of knowing or working with him.

He was the best of the best. One of the best pilots ever and one of the best human beings. He would pass his knowledge onto the greenhorns with nothing but patience. A very humble man. Never seen him get mad and I think every FO of his who was ever a rampie, knows what kind of genuine man he really was.

I've heard that the memorial will be Tuesday July 24th at 3pm in the Adlair Hangar.

Can anyone from Air Tindi or Adlair/Summit confirm?

Very sad to hear the news, my condolences to the Air Tindi family. I had the pleasure of doing my first trip on the 2-otter with Paul as a 20 year old green FO over a decade ago, his professionalism. sense of humour and patience with a newbie pilot were something I've always tried to emulate in my career. I have fond memories of sitting on the side of the Thelon river with Paul describing in great detail how the auto feather system functioned on the twin otter. I remember it to this day thanks to him. Rest in Peace Paul, you will be missed.

P.S - did he call all the new FO's "Gerome" or was it just me ? :) I still laugh whenever I hear that name...
