City of Calgary selling flight sim?

Found this looking over the City's surplus stuff page. Not sure why a municipal government has a flight simulator or why they're selling it.

Don't know why I was expecting to see the image of a nice, Level D simulator that could be picked up for a couple hundred bucks.

Those are two 'flight simulators' built for the Aerospace Museum. If you look at the top of the panel you'll see it was patterned on the P-51.

I don't think so, they are ether a match or the cousins of an ancient Frasca we have in our Museum undergoing restoration.

I know the P-51 Tubs you're talking about, we have through a number of sources acquired 6 or them and (2) have been on the floor for a few years as public access sims. The others are awaiting updating to be add with different exhibits to give a "taste" of the different eras to the public.

What got me was the DME dial needle thing. Never seen one of those before. And over 15 000 on the hobbs meter, seems like a lot for a frasca. Anybody check out the deals on diamonds and gold jewellery while they were there?
