York Aerodrome CPP6

Post by DaveC »

Does anyone know anything about this field? The number associated with this field is 'no longer in service'.
Looking for an alternative to YHM for a C-150.

What exactly do you need to know about it? You want to hangar your aircraft there?

My girlfriend lives a couple minutes from there, and it seems like a good alternative to YHM.

Winter maintenance? Fuel? Tie downs? Parking costs? Electrical outlets for heat? etc.

I've flown into York a couple times and there is usually someone around playing with their airplane on the weekend's so maybe head up there and see who you can find. When I went in there a few winters back the runway was usually plowed and its in good shape. There is a fuel tank and a few tie downs but for the most part everyone keeps their planes in two open hangers along the taxiway.
