Aircraft Maintenance program assignment quesiton

Post by appplejack »

I need to complete a sample of Major Repair or Major Modification Report for my course in my aircraft maintenance program at my college. I have some information about the aircraft and need to use a registered air plane from Transport Canada website.
But I have very little idea about how to go about doing it. I will update more details as I fill out more portion on this form.
Here's the information I have so far

GPS Antenna Installation Beech King Air 90

Size: B
DWG Number (what does DWG mean?): CENKA90

Rev(?): A
Scale:NTS
NCAGE: L6518

And I need to find

Aircraft - Beeh King Air
Make - ?
Serial number - ?
Model (I think this is Cenka90)
Registration mark - ?

I need some help.
Thanks

DWG number is 'Drawing Number'. A reference to an approved drawing you are using to do the install. In this case, Drawing Number CENKA90

Rev A means the original drawing has been revised, and you have revision A.

Beech King Air.

The make is Beechcraft
The model is King Air

You can come up with a random registration and serial number of a King Air, or use a specific registration and serial number off the Transport Canada aircraft register.

It's a student learning how to fill out forms. Give him a break.

Culver, I am curious what the yikes is in regards to? Perhaps the spelling? Wording of the question?
My personal feeling is that the student should not be here asking for advice on school work. However it does show some initiative on his part which seems to be lacking in the youth of today. I would caution the OP that not everything you get instructions for on the internet can be taken as correct or legal, make sure that you back up what you are trying to accomplish within the rules of the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
