In the last 6 to 7 years, you have stuck it to your elders in so many different ways that it is becoming difficult to keep track. So, if these gents want to continue enjoying what they do, more power to them and for those that have this incredible sense of entitlement that all should flow only to them, too bad as all of you are living in the same real world and this world is VERY different from what your dreams are built upon. As the French say: au plus for la poche.
So you're saying the younger generation is experiencing the same thing the older generation experienced? Nothing short of bullshit. I agree with most of your points but the economy and times are very different.
Something I can't figure out for the life of me ...
You would have me believe that an individual working 5-8 days a month making $200,000+ a year, high seniority, awarded the most desired routes, holidays off, etc. Other than the simple fact that you have the right to fly a Q400 for peanuts, can you explain why anyone would leave their senior Captain chair to do this? Maybe after 30-40 years aviation rots your brain and down means up and up means down? Is it just me, or does it seem a little illogical for a nearly retired AC capt to jump back 30 years and fly for 20% the salary with 2% the current lifestyle? Maybe I just don't get it.

If I was a passenger of Sky Regional I'd way rather have ex Air Canada captain running my plane than the whiner who thinks anyone with grey hair, or who has earned more than them should quit to give them a better job. Gimme a break...., your turn will come, either be patient or do something else!
You don't understand why one generation needs to clear out eventually and pass on the reigns to the next?
