Not gunning for a management job or on my knee's. I was just a very lucky individual that was taken in by a very classy individual when I was on my job hunt across the country several years back and shown how to excel in this industry and how if you really look at it properly, there's light at the end of the tunnel. And there definitely were not practice sessions on my knees for that reality lol hahahah.

So far this industry has been nothing but a blast for me. And I owe a big chunk of it to that day when key members of the management group took a few hours to sit down and develop a perception for how to succeed in this industry with a 250 hour wonder!

Be sides I was shown the WestJet way and it has impacted how I think of the company, its employees and their operation. Personally to see them achieve their 100th 737 resembles a company milestone for sure because it entails how successful they have become over the years regardless of all the public speculation throughout the years.

Congrats again to all my friends and acquaintances at WestJet - and keep it up!

So often, I'm reminded that a huge percentage of people in the airline business are total idiots. It's so sad. I often wonder if good people get changed by the industry, or if the industry just attracts idiots.

Hard to say sometimes.

Guys guys!! Is the industry so fragile that it validates what mike echo said? Can't we all just play nice?

Just searched up DaveP's class act back in 2009 when I was on the job hunt... have a look! Hopefully this inspires you guys to remain positive in the type of individuals involved in the direction this company is going. The beauty is that I'm not one to suck up, I call out the truth as it stands.

Thanks to DaveP and many of the management group that day for really putting a 250 hour wonders dream on the right path. IT has worked out extremely well! And making a difference in how a 250 hour wonders attitude, perception, and work ethic progresses in the industry is just a small example of how these guys are rowing in one direction to make a difference - one by one. And with that I applaud all the WJetters once again for the 100th 737ng - truly a milestone.
