To those away from their families over the holidays, here's to a speedy return.
For those who are lucky enough to enjoy some down time with the family, give yourself an extra splash of rum with the eggnog. Especially if the in-laws are around.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and safe landings in 2013.

Ross: I'll take 2 dozen cards if you decide to make a project out of it.
About 15 years ago a friend asked if I had a Christmas Rose in my garden. Well it was early July and one of my best red roses opened and I got a few pieces of Christmas decorations out, set up the camera and we had a "Christmas Rose"! It sold like crazy.
Here it is..the greetings overlaid were for computer tx only. The photos were attached to antique card stock using double sided stickies.

Some very quick google search, name is Fire and Ice, website shows it's not available, maybe with enough interest you may get some prints.

I'll take 5 cards. Ok so far we are at 50 cards, say $5 each that's already $250.
Who says Art School never pays off.
Drop by your local flying club or hangar and you'll easily sell another 50.

Thanks for the kind words..."Fire and Ice" was painted 20 years ago and was my first image to be used for AOPA Christmas cards. Kind of a special anniversary reappearance. We'll look into doing it again and let you know.
I always liked it as a reminder of the heritage we all share as Canadian aviators...and the continuing legacy of some of the best in the world.
Fly Safe...
