How is Canada in Summer , any warm places in the country ?
Re: Dress appropriately.
I have no real idea. Just curious if you're basing your opinion on anything solid. You mean besides regulatory requirements and providing a false sense of security? You tell me.

Re: Dress appropriately.
too funny. Igloos in the summer everywhere.
near a large body of water (eg Atlantic or Pacific Ocean,
on the east or west coast) then the temperature will be
moderated - it will not get too cold in the winter, and
it will not get too hot in the summer.
If you are located far away from a large body of water,
the temperature will swing wildly. During the winter it
will be painfully cold, and during the summer it will be
painfully hot. This is true, almost regardless of latitude
in the central part of north america.
The Great Lakes will moderate the climate a little bit.
For example, Toronto has milder winters than Ottawa
because of it's proximity to Lake Ontario, and also possibly
due to the extra man-made heat of a largish city.
But seriously folks, the way it works is that if you areHow is Canada in Summer , any warm places in the country ?

Hence why Edmonton has the same climate as Siberia. If you are located far away from a large body of water,

At least Edmonton isn't the murder capital of Canada any more...it's now Winnipeg. And I think actually Winnipeg has a more similar climate to Siberia....for some reason their large bodies of water don't help much.

Finally, Winnipeg is number one in something.
Normally Cat and I are pretty much in sync. But in my little corner of the industry, someone who prefers being a fashion statement over being warm is pretty much unemployable. If I had a commercial student who couldn't figure it out, I'd be okay with leaving him to walk 15 minutes to the club, or taking a really really long time to do a walk around, then switching airplanes on them.
