Three Hills Flying Club (CEN3) is hosting its monthly Coffee-Break Fly-in (or drive-in) on Saturday Jan 5 from 9 am till noon.
Join us for coffee, treats and some hanger flying.
Fuel available @ $1.75/L
(For anyone who hasn't been there, the clubhouse is the small modular building near the fuel pumps).

Yes, I agree. There are lots of fly-ins happening all the time that you never hear about unless you're on the email list. Some are listed in COPA flight news but most aren't.Shiny Side Up wrote:I still think we need to have a forum for posting these sort of event type things.

Looks like a great group, it would be nice to see more of these grass-roots type of gatherings. I feel like they have really died off since I started flying.

Yes, it's a great group with an active membership. Flying clubs are also the cheapest and easiest way to fly for the majority of private pilots in my opinion - it doesn't make any sense owning your own plane if you fly 10 hours a year. I'm surprised there aren't more of them around.
