As a fellow NB'er now living and flying floats in the North I dream of someday coming back and setting up a course / float charter but for the time being I would firstly suggest you go west as future work will require you to know the coast, mountains, swells, etc... that guys like Dave Budd at www.oceanair.ca can teach you and more. He got me slidding years ago. However, Tartan Air Address: PO Box 14, Murray River, PE
PEI C0A 1W0
Canada
Attn: Mark Coffin
Phone: 1-800-496-2494
Fax: 902-962-2952
Cell: 902-969-2875

in PEI use to do a course but not sure if they still do, google and call. Other option would be stopping by the sunday breakfast at havelock airstrip and see if one of those guys with floats will do your 7 hours. Best of luck and good choice with the floats, it's a world of amazement you will never want to leave.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the reply. Did 50 hour Float course out West was fab, got a real thrill and sense of enjoyment.

Will take your advice and try and touch bases with Tartan Air and people at Havelock.

Cheers Again, safe flying.
