HI GUYS,
i am just asking about the conversion from a canadian to an faa flight instructor rating.after a long search on the web all i found was about the agreement between tc and the faa conerning the CPL AND IR .nothing about FI rating.so any informations about this.
should take the hole course of an american CFI or just pass the written exams and the checkride to have the rating( read this in a forum but not sure)

Unfortunately the agreement does not cover the CFI, and yes, you will have to do the FAA Course for this.

I don't see any credits for foreign applicants in FAR 61.181 through 61.199
