LIDO are worse than CAPs. The layout is random. Information in one spot on plate A is in a completely different spot on plate B. Departures take one full A4 page for the graphic and a normal binder page for the text. STARs take a full A4 page... there is paper everywhere in the cockpit. The approach plates are a little better, but are still inconsistent. My particular airline is looking at alternatives to them. I hope we go back to Jepps. By far the best layout.

Interesting comment, Raybanman.
I only looked at some Lido plates once by a guy who was preparing for his Emirates Airlines simulator evaluation, but I have never worked for them.
Our company uses Jepps and I am very happy with them; they certainly have improved over the years and I love the Briefing Strip.
