Looking for some information about First Air. How is the environment/morale around the company? Pay scale seems to be pretty decent. What about upgrade times? What kind of interview/screening/hiring process could an applicant expect?
Pilot Career Center says there's layoffs in Yellowknife but they're still looking for ATR FOs for their YOW base; however, their hiring website lists no openings in the flight crew department. Could anyone shed some light on this?

Nobody at all? I guess what I could take from this is that none of First Air's pilots are browsing the Employment Forum, which is probably a good sign...

No hiring, layoffs still in affect. Morell in the tanks . 3 or 4 new presidents in 4 years . Still mild rumours of mergers. Would not want to be at the bottom of the pilots list.
