Gosh I hope not. I just gave my last employer 2 weeks notice and took out a loan for a PPC on the Space Shuttle. By the way, where can I find info regarding a "Flux-capacitor"? I'm doing some pre-study prior to ground school.

His nick name is 'Ruger'. He's an old old friend....a handsome kid, but really dumb. Wouldn't trade him in for the world. I never laughed so hard in my life.
Part of the problem is that this big bureaucratic NASA cannot find the time or expertise to maintain it. It was built to government specs and now no one want to maintain or support it. They are trying to past thwe buck to Boeing for life cycle support, and this is proving to be impossible to do. I seriously think that the NASA will have no choice but to put these things in a museum where they belong. They should call Burt Rutan for a new design, and a contract for its supporté
And yes..the shuttle program is out of date. With the scramjet and X-prize programs going on, I would expect that something out of area 51 should be able to replace the 500 tonne glider on a brick of fuel.
