Mustique Airways
Would anyone be willing to share any current info on this operator? Thanks!
Re: Mustique Airways
This isn't current but little changes on St Vincent. There are two operators on this island that work out of the same hanger. They are both very good to work for. I consider my time on that island as the best experience and the high point of my 40 years in aviation and I have been around quite a bit. The pay is fair but you won't get rich. The flying is interesting, the islands are beautiful, the people in that part of the world are the nicest, most welcoming people you'll ever meet. You'll fly a lot of celebrities, movie actors, sports heros, etc. If you are from the city it will be a bit of a culture shock, no night clubs or trendy restaurants or the like. Jon Palmer is a great guy, treats his people well, he did provide a room and a shared vehicle. Barbados is not far way for some R&R and there are many flights every day. I'd go back in a heartbeat but the age thing got in the way.

Re: Mustique Airways
Hey thanks for the reply..Ive been an expat for awhile, flown in many different places around the world but getting tired of living out of my suitcase..I'm looking for a place where I can be around for the long run, avoid the winters and get to do some great flying so this wouldn't be a transitional move..I'm wondering do most of the guys stick around or is there a lot of movement? Thanks again
Re: Mustique Airways
Most of the local guys do stick around but eventually move up to Caribbean Star or Sun. Most expats find island life a tad restricting and move on after a year or so. Like I said, things don't change much in that area and aviation is about chasing the dream.
