First Air Iqaluit Base
Is there anybody out there with first-hand experience and knowledge on the operation of the base in Iqaluit...working conditions...rotations etc.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: First Air Iqaluit Base
I contracted there last year for a bit. It was 21 days on 21 off, accommodation was quite nice -they rent a newer apartment building on the edge of town and all your food/living expences are taken care of . Plus I think you get per diem even as a permenent employee. The hangar is also fairly good and has heated concrete floors.
I was expecting atco trailers and a couple of 2x4's with a tin roof for a hangar so I was pleasantly surprised.
