Twin Job

Post by Scudrunner703 »

Hi Guy's

I'm Just finishing up my IFR and will be writing my ATPL soon. I have just over 1400 hours. Mostly all single PIC. Northern bush.

Just wondering what my prospects are with only 15 hrs. of Multi? Seems like everyone wants 100 hrs. Looking to settle down for a few years. Any suggestions on some decent companies?

Thanks. :D

Where do you live? Maybe look for a company that has singles and twins, and upgrades there single pilots.

Got my first "twin job" when I was 17. Their names were Judy and Joan...

Seriously, the last couple of guys we picked up were in the same boat as you.
As long as you're up with the procedures, I could GARA about how much twin time you have. It's the same as flying singles. You simply feather, trim, run a check list and continue. That;s it. That's all. Don't make it difficult. It isn't.

The difference between 100 hours and 15 is with 15, I get to teach you all my bad habits. If you have 100, I have to cure all your bad habits first. You're not going to be on your own with 100 hours anyway. Okay, on a 337 doing fire patrol....but very few others.
Just to clarify, we fly 2 crew. Always.
