New Minister of Transport
Lisa Raitt is the new Minister of Transport. I guess she knows all about First Class transport with all her free upgrades at AC.

Honestly......... who gives a Cape Breton Fiddlers fuc@ about who ever occupies that position
Re: New Minister of Transport
The Minister of Transport is responsible for implementing regulations to protect the traveling public, regulations that inevitably cost corporations money because safety usually does. This particular Minister has already proven herself a most willing doormat for corporate executives, so if I were the traveling public I would care very much.

That's one transition binder I'd like to see. I'd be curious whether our friend Gilles, unions and pilots in general made it on the enemies list. It would almost be worth the $5 for the access to information filing.

For those 704 and 705 scheduled peeps out there that think the US has it so bad, take 10 minutes and read over the following:pilotbzh wrote:so forget about new fatigue preventions rules, the economy can't afford higher safety standard.... no need for crew augmentation, 15h duty are good for the economy... let's make that 17...![]()

...then compare it to what you currently do.
(To my TS friends out there: Do you ever stop and wonder why Delta always has 3 pilots laying over in LGW, while there are only ever two of you?)
Why has there been zero movement on this issue up here?
