Really?
C'mon, man, use the search function first, or at least trawl through the forums a little.
I thought you kids were all up on searching the internet for information...

Can't believe you're not working with those qualifications and your obvious ingenuity...

I really wish people would start looking before they finish their training.... The biggest problem I see with new FO's is how much their flying and knowledge is lost in the years they spend working on the ramp. Yes you can find a job with 250 hours. But it will be hard. Working the ramp is a way of life for the well known companies so why not start early?

Oh don't be so mean. Maybe he's been without a job for a few years and is really stuck.
And too bad that the ramp is the way of life.

Come on guys!! Here is what I assume to be a young, newly licenced commercial pilot asking for advice and all you can do is give him grief for not knowing how to use all the features on the Avcanada website, it was his first post so he probably has not spent much time on here.
Miltonmathew, if you go to the website Pilot Career Center there is a list of nearly every operator in Canada. Start by sending resumes to all the companies on that list.
Then go to http://www.collegeofpilots.ca/ there is a mentoring program they provide sign up for that you will find people there are much more willing to help you than some on this forum. Finally PM me if you wish.
Cheers,
Roar

Get an Instructor Rating, and then a job at a Flying School where they will be willing to give you discounted MIFR Training. The right seat anyplace. ( Do ATR exams at the School)

Mathew(? I think that's your name?)
Well, it seems that someone has taken me to task in another thread for being a little crusty with you in my initial reply. (Perhaps so, or maybe you just got me in the morning prior to the first coffee
) I'm not going to say sorry, 'cause I'm not - I said what I said. But, if you follow the advice of others, and do a little research (using the 'search' function, of course
) and come back with some more specific questions, then I'd be more than willing to give you my $.02 worth.
Good luck - this is the hardest part of it all - finding the first job..

Indeed, there is a tremendous amount of valuable info on this website and by using the search function properly you will come about it.
Once you've done that, remember to consult the pilot career center website, consult the employment secotr and job adds section of the website. You could also post your resume in the hire me section of this website. There is also a pretty good resume building thread posted in the employment forum by xsbank, give that a read.
You haven't specified if you have an instrument rating or not? If that is the case, you'll be limited to VFR operations only.
Regarding the job hunt, there are plenty of ways to go about it. My advice to you is that aviation works a lot on trust and that sometimes, its more about who you know than what you know. If I can be of any help, feel free to PM me.
Cheers
