Talking about it by the water cooler? Absolutely not.

But every one of them can tell just by looking at photos that the fast Taildragger looks more interesting than the Cessna. Just like looking at a Fairlane next to a Ferrarri. One looks fast and fun just standing still.

Well.... so did the Fiero with it's Chevette engine and underpinnings.

If you put an RV-7 next to a DA-20 next to a CH601.... no layman would be able to tell which one was the fastest and most fun.

And every newspaper reporter thinks there is only one manufacturer - Cessna

Exactly. I'd rather have the Fiero than the Chevette.

Good analogy, though... The engine in my RV started it's life in a Cessna. I'd rather have the RV. :)

Interesting comments about cars.

I just happen to have a 1986 Fiero in the original rare gold color and we are thinking of selling it.

A young stud flys his Cessna 150 to the big city airport where he spots a -10, a chick with spectacular mammeries. As he is trying to get to first base with -10, a Hercules taxies by. He tells the chick he is a pilot. She is impressed. He says, pointing to the Herc, "See, that is a C130, I fly a C150".

I'm sorry, I don't think I can be considered a "young" stud anymore
Other than that.........

I would imagine that there are far worse ways to end a career than being put out to stud ..... it pays very well according to this article on race horses ....

I just love video evidence! Assuming the identity of the pilot is proven, I'd say he's toast.

I say lash him to the main mast and break out the Cat 'O Nine Tails.

"Bosun .... assemble the crew. Few things focus the mind of the men than a flogging or hanging first thing in the morning."

In Italian culture a buzzjob is seen as an act of great "machismo" so it's going to happen.
In Italian culture it is not acceptable to challenge the decisions of your mother.

Italian culture is not compatible with the operation of modern training aircraft.

Before I get banned/wacked this is satire of this low point in Avcanada posting history: viewtopic.php?f=118&t=90298&start=43

Satire it is !

(sidenote: In SFO were apparently "blinded" by the sun's glare ... possibly off of a notepad or some other harsch reflection of the pre-noon sun in a delicate segment of their visual approach. In YKZ it was something else for sure, ie in the "buzzjob" footage it didn't appear to be too sunny out.)
