Easa to Canadian AME licence.

Post by Craig.wilson »

Can anybody give me any advice on gaining a Canadian AME licence. I have an EASA B1.3 rotary licence and have been in the industry for 28 years. I have been on the TC website and as all Authority sites it isn't particularly clear.
From what I can gather I'll have to start from scratch but my experience does work in my favour.
Any help on clarifying would be great.
Would it be advisable to go through a college to carry out the training?

I think you can just do the ICS course as basic training. Use your current experience as accreditation, then write the 3 tech exams followed by C.A.R.S. That is if they will accept your log book. Now there may be a way around all this but I can't see how from the TC website.
