How can someone be a decent manager when their whole life has been handed to them and they've never actually achieved anything on their own?

Heard a rumour that the shell is not out of trouble yet, so LP might yet join her co-workers on the EI line.

I could not let this record thread die with a comment about LP.
Good luck to all of those employees that did the real work at Skyward and actually provided a service.

So what is/was going on between Slyward and Beaver Air Service????

The court docket for tomorrow is to deal with a motion "OF DELOITTE & TOUCHE (RECEIVER), FOR AN ORDER DECLARING THAT THERE HAS NOT BEEN A BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN BEAVER AIR SERVICE LTD PARTNERSHIP AND SKYWARD AVIATION LTD"

It appears that the Court expects a long day - they've booked both morning (10AM) and afternoon (2PM) sessions for this case.

Let's see if we can break 30 pages.....

From what I understand, Beaver Air was supposed to buy the old Northwinds hanger (beside Calm Air) in Thompson off of Skyward. The wheels were in motion for that before the recievership. Perhaps it's related.

I think Beaver Air was gonna buy the north hangar but then they pulled up in a 200 and realized in wouldn't fit. Dunno what's going on now though.

I've seen CGL in that hanger before so a 200 fits.

A 200 will fit in the hangar. The only problem is Deloitte & Touche don't want to sell the hangar to Beaver Air even though there was an agreement in place before Skyward went into recievership. Basically they want to auction everything off so they don't have to deal with trying to get the most money for what they sell.

I'd laugh if the deal got set aside, then Beaver came in and bought it cheeper at auction.

To the people who will laugh at another employees plight--leaves one to wonder-if anyone buys any of the Skyward Property below first offered monetay values--again the employees suffer--oh has anyone heard who the employees are making out with the claims that went in to the government and is there any chance of the "new company" starting up?

The Skyward employees lost a lot of money and the hardest hit were the young pilots--some who had training bonds-so when people are laughing amybe we should be thinking about how we would feel in their shoes

Just a thought

Hey "salsa dancer" if you in fact went thru some Ontario finds then you already know who Joel is? Why not post the last name? In fact why not post what the company name is and what type of license they are applying for? What is the company address?

If you are going to make this type of statement you should have the balls to put all the information on the table. Where are you getting this stuff anyway???? :?:

Interesting how this Joel character is applying for an Ontario licsence. Must not be a Skyward guy cause from what I hear Frankie is still fighting with TC to keep his original OC and surprisingly TC ain't to happy about that.

Basically TC thought they got rid of FB when Skyward went bankrupt. So they aren't to happy about him wanting his OC back...its almost like they are afraid of him or something...like maybe somethings will come to light about TC not being very helpful to Skyward before they died.
But these are things only whispered about so who really knows....I just report what rumours I hear and then look for more....and it is a very interesting subject.

That is very interesting. I guess he'd have to come up with a new name though, someone else owns his old one. He signed a non competition clause for Manitoba as well.
