Pretty simple really. Get an RRSP and a regular bank account. Once you have five thousand in the RRSP and one in savings they will probably loan you as much as you like.

Get a job. Save money. You will learn better and study more diligently if spending your hard-earned money than if spending a loan or a grant.
Improve your English.
Learn more about the reality of work as a pilot. Locations, operations, pay, schedule, people. Decide if your dream should transform into a job reality or into a hobby. Treat any step you take in aviation as part of an extended job interview.
Find a good instructor, not necessarily a "good school".
If able to find a good mechanic and to fly often, buy your own small plane, ideally a two-seat taildragger with a set of floats and skis.
When you have saved over 30k, study hard and learn as much as able before you start flying.

I understand English is may not be your first language, however, avoid using things like "Plzzzzz" and other slang terms. Your English proficiency will be a liability for a certain time until your language skills improve. It is extremely important to portray yourself as a professional right from day one. When you use slang like that it comes across as immature and unprofessional. Aviation companies have no time or place for immaturity. Neither do the banks, if the loan route is the way you decide to go.

Start by going to all of the flight schools at the local airports. Ask lots of questions, smile and be friendly. There will be lots of enthusiastic people willing to help you. Ideally try and find a ground school that will let you sit in on a single class so you can gauge the atmosphere of the lesson and see if that is the right school for you. DO NOT pay for anything upfront. Only pay after a flight is completed and you are presented a bill.

Best of luck!

The bank does not care how immature I am or how my english is. They want to know they can make a profit lending me money.

No one on the planet is going to lend you money because they like you. I get $2 and give them back $3.25 they are perfectly happy even if I wrote "kan u borrow me to buck plzzzz." On the application.

If you have an RRSP you saved money in from a job they know you can save and have money tied up in their vaults, therefore it is likely you will pay them back instead of leaving the country with your new CPL. Another way is collateral, secure the loan against a house belonging to you or a co-signer.

Fair point Beef, but I think you see my point as well. He's not doing himself any favors by talking like that.

True and you're right about aviation. It is a difficult area to work in. Notice I only referred to getting a loan.

He has a good grasp of basic English and would certainly benefit from improving it.

Get a job you don't mind and fly on the week ends. It takes a long time to get a license that way but debt is much better for the bank than you.

I never finished my CPL but used to love flying.

Good choice Qedar, I always suggest you continue working while you complete your flight training. Even if you have enough saved up to complete the training in a straight shot, working a few days a week will provide a good balance in your life, and it will be something to have in your back pocket if you don't get a flying job right out of flight school. I suggest a job which is customer service based where you must interact and converse with people. It will greatly improve your English skills, as well as familiarize yourself with the cultural and customer service differences between your home country and Canada.

Again, best of luck!

Have you visited the Windsor Flying Club? Even if you just drop in there will likely be some club members just hanging out, available to ask any questions. They are a terrific club with really friendly people. They'll point you int the right direction on how to start.

You shouldn't ever look to borrowing money as your first option. it should be the LAST option. People are always far to eager to borrow outside of their means instead of buying from what they actually have. It's a terrible mentality that's far to pervasive in today's culture.

That being said, can get a student line of credit for flying, but you will very likely need a co-signer. Ideally you would be working some random job, paying your way through your licenses debt free, but that's not always realistic. It's ok to carry some debt in the interest of getting through quicker- but aim to finance less than half of your training!
It will take maybe 2 years, and if you can work a decent job through that period, you can apply maybe 30k of self funding. Please don't even think about financing the full 50k, because when you have to start paying it back it will be 700 bucks a month, (for 6-8 years) and you'll only making between 1000-2000 a month to start as an entry level pilot or rampie. You'll be in a very bad position.

Good luck.

+1. There many flight schools around the Southwestern Ontario area. I would check out smaller flying schools that are around Windsor. Organize yourself and figure out more about what you need to get done before you start your training. Pre planning and looking ahead could put you in a good place before diving straight in.

Good luck.

What I was trying to get at is understand how licensing works before diving right in.
There are many ways of going about your training in an efficient/effective manner.

PPL, Night, Multi, IFR, at 150 hours do the CPL ride is how I would do it but I wasn't smart about it in the past, and had no clue.
There are many threads on AvCan that can provide such assistance.
