This job ad is in my opinion a textbook add.
Wouldn't it be nice if all operators were so forth coming in their recruitment adds. viewtopic.php?uid=410&f=7&t=93656&start=0
Anyone she'd some light on the lifestyle conditions with scheduling rules at cargojet now? I heard it wasn't good prior to unionization, so I avoided the place. Feel free to PA me any info.

George reads these forums and he's a smart fellow. It's not in his interest to recruit a 767 crew, go through all the trouble of interviewing and have people turn their noses up at certain aspects. This also saves us from speculating a million different ways and hearing from a guy who knew a guy that worked at Cargojet in 2007 saying the wages weren't that great.
There's enough there to get qualified people to apply but not too much to scare them away immediately. Textbook job advert, for sure.
Is anyone able to shed some light either via post or pm as to the schedule situation for 767/757 and or 727? I see their aircraft sitting in various locations during the day for some lengthy durations and am trying to determine if they spend their nights on duty and reset during the day at these locations? If so, are they on a "5 day pairing" so to speak for Monday to Friday? Any insight is much appreciated.

They have their whole 727/757/767 flight schedule on their website. Of course it could change based on customer needs. Hope this helps. Cheers.
What an opportunity to get into a wide body as an FO....
the pay isnt great but at least he told us what it is...
best of luck to those who apply
there are many of us who could and would love to fly the 767 but just cant take that kinda hit money wise
but like it has been said it was upfront and honest
refreshing.
Good for them? They have enough pilots to staff the already existing 727 fleet, why would they need to hire externally to staff a smaller fleet after the 27s leave the fleet?
Can't talk about it after they forced an agreement of such on everyone working there, not much to brag about there.
hello
how does schedule and benefit package look like ?
I guess the 767 is doing the trip to europe. I have some questions about crew rest and numbers of days worked/mth.
for privacy you can pm me if you want.
I only know of 2 pilots that were hired in response to the job ad. The left seat hire was typed and the right seat had lots of jet time but was not typed.
+1 for PM'ing me info on rotation schedule & lifestyle. I'm interested in if it will be worthwhile leaving my current gig, which I like very much but will burn me out in the very near future. I respect the company's request not to divulge private information, I am only looking for sched info. The rest I can find out at the interview.
Cheers

It is better to be sitting on the ground wishing you were in the air than being in the air wishing you were on the ground
Morning. If someone could PM me a note regarding the true schedule out of YHM it would be greatly appreciated. I see the route structure on the website but would like some more info about lifestyle. Thanks
