Curious what position you applied and heard a response for? I applied to a couple, meeting the contrail requirements and haven't heard anything :?

What is a unsolicited pilot position? Also, personality profiling before the interview?

I also have above the time they want and along with Contrail yet I received no phone call...
weird...
If they have a sim eval they want to just test your skills...Air Transat has one too...

If anyone has details on the selection process please shed some light

Cheers

I think they aren't just looking at you being able to fly an airplane. Because your CPL, ATPL, MIFR, etc usually demonstrates capability to fly an airplane.

I was under the impression that a sim eval was an extension to seeing how well you learn, CRM, and your attitude when under stress. Flying a new type that you have 0 knowledge about, and getting used to the SOP's/Calls they want you to hammer out upon a short review does demonstrate certain things.

I could be wrong

The Sunwest interview is similar to one at WJ Encore where the HR questions are aimed at personality. As Loopa mentioned your CPL or ATPL usually means you can fly. The question really comes down to "Would you want to be on a 3 day pairing with this guy? or will he drive you nuts?".

Hey all,

I'm new to the thread and quite interested in Sunwest.

Any insight on how the interview is there?

Thanks.
