Anybody know what the jazz interview is like? Also, is there a medical for it as well? thanks

nothing special nothing technical, they just want to know who you are...
sim eval is the next stage, a medical at the end they expect to hire around 16/month.....take your number.

They called me a few days back to conduct a pre-interview screening type thing for an Aug course. People should start to get calls.

I happened to be in the middle of drivng to another job I had already accepted (and preferred) so I politely turned it down...

Well last thing I heard from a Jazz s chief pilot, 4500TT mininmum to get consider.
I just can t believe that

!!!! Lots of Jazz employees don t even have this kind of experience. AC is asking 1000TT with commercial licence.

If you really think AC mainline is going to consider you with 1000tt and a comercial lic, you are in for a shock.
Jazz is being realistic with the type of resumes they are getting.
Believe me, mainline will be looking for and getting 4000 + hrs.

I don't think chicken is asking to be considered with a 1000 tt and a cpl. He's just mentioning that the published minimums for the mainline is 1000 and a cpl meanwhile the regional is asking for 4500.

The only reason AC has it's minimums set so low is so they can get their sons/daughter instructors hired on. You should be happy Jazz is realistic because maybe that means the most qualified will get hired!!! Instead of the most connected!!
I love flying with captains who had to get an ATR exemption cause they aren't qualified to get an A when there number comes up. Makes me feel that that 4000 hrs I spent in the bush was wasted cause that experience can be replaced with an exemption from TC!!!

I believe the AC website says 1000 hours FIXED WING. This is so military chopper guys can apply.
