I lost a good friend this week
I lost a good friend this week, not in an plane crash or skydiving accident but to a skateboarding accident. My friend Bryce was was a active skydiver, tandem master, camera man. He had 700 plus jumps with several cutaways..to the point where we made fun of him because he was always getting his reserve re-packed. This week in a freak accident he sustained head injuries that claimed his life on Wednesday. He was put to rest today...i was unable to attend his funeral. My heart is full of pain and thoughts of him....
I want everybody to realize LIFE and what it has to offer. Do not be mean, or cruel, be kind and thoughfull as life can be taken away as quickly as any good fortune that comes your way. In 100 years we will all be gone, and the little things and troubles will mean NOTHING so please respect and appriciate each other like tommorow may never come.
Bryce Macfarlene was 27 and a Great Guy and i hurt thinking about the loss.

When your life flashes before your eyes, will it be interesting?
I am sorry to hear about your friend. I understand your pain.
My dad passed away suddenly when I was 20 year. One day he was here,
the next not. That tought me lots of things about life, what is important and what is not.
Please accept my condolense for your friend and if you want to express any feelings, PM, I always listens

Sorry for your loss jumperdumper. It really puts things into perspective, doesn't it? I remember losing many friends, high school car accidents, motorcycles etc. Not to mention the friends lost in A/C accidents.
Life is fragile and we really should respect the things that matter a lot more.
Thoughts are with you.

I am sorry for your loss.
Again, I am sorry.
I just lost my father a few weeks ago. Suddenly, and I agree, it sure changes how you look at things. My Dad never wasted a day worrying about things he could not change and he lived life to it's fullest, and treated everyone he knew with dignity and respect. Sounds like your friend did the same, and that is at least a good thing. Sorry he was taken so young though.wan2fly99 wrote:I am sorry to hear about your friend. I understand your pain.
