Interesting. Lots of possible issues with this kind of thing but if it gets people flying more and exposes more people to the benefits of light aircraft then I guess it's a good thing.

As for the Palo Alto Tour, I think the name got messed up. If you look at the details it's a trip to Oshkosh and $3400 is for a sole passenger. It would be lower if more went. Not a bad deal actually for such a trip. Not sure what else would be included but the Bonanzas To Oshkosh (B2OSH) group certainly seem to be pretty well organized each year.

Id spend 3400 to NOT ride on the back of a strangers private bonanza halfway across the country ...
