wondering if anyone knows where to find this [Instrument Procedures Manual] if possible? 89$ a little much... The 97' version is on the web in PDF, is it worth studying? or has too much changed?
Thanks

Re: 2013 IPM PDF?
The old IPM PDF, the AIM and the CAP GEN
oughta do ya. It's mostly GPS stuff that's
changed and that's in the AIM, though it's
hidden in the COM section for some weird
reason (not RAC).

As the Col. said, you don't need the IPM to pass the INRAT or get your IFR. That being said, the new IPM looks pretty nice, and well put together. I agree that $89 sounds like a lot, but compared to other textbooks, it is quite reasonable. I don't think I paid less than that for a single university textbook, and that was a decade and a half ago. If you want people to continue to publish quality work, somebody has to pay for it. Put yourself in the author's shoes: I just put months of work into publishing a 284 page book; now somebody wants that for free?

I have my MIFR, yet likely a good ifr study tool. Worth the 89 bucks id say
