The most interesting pilot in the world

Post by pelmet »

His logbook is thicker than a telephone directory.
When he calls FSS, they ask him for a briefing.
Runway and taxiway lights automatically illuminate as he approaches.

He is......the most interesting pilot in the world.

Sim instructors frequently beg him to show them how it's done.
In his spare time, he translates the CARS into Sanskrit.
Otto Pilot? He don't need no stinkin' Otto Pilot to fly in RVSM airspace.
Just last week he did a NRT/YYZ pairing, then jogged to Ottawa to explain the evils of the TFW program to Parliament. He was greeted with an all-party standing ovation.
His read-backs are usually delivered in rhyming couplets.
His cabin briefings have been known to make women faint and leave strong men misty-eyed.
He routinely overhauls his O360 single-handed using nothing but a corkscrew, a Bowie knife, and hand sanitizer.

He is......the most interesting pilot in the world. Stay current, my friends.

When he lines up on the runway, traffic on final holds short.
He once flew as the examiner on his own IFR renewal.
His license only has room to list the type ratings he doesn't have.
He doesn't shoot approaches, he kills them.
. Yeager has asked for his autograph.

He is the most interesting pilot in the world. Stay current, my friends.

-He is current on two models of the C172
-He once found his way home from the practice area without once ever looking at the GPS
-He actually put fuel in the C172 by himself, without supervision
-He once exceeded 45 degrees angle of bank and fought his way back to level flight-
-Tower once complimented him on his ability to reduce speed to sixty knots on final for spacing

He is the most interesting pilot in the world, stay current my friend

-His ifr approaches have negative decision heights.
-If one of his engines fails, he shuts down the other one as well, just to give faith a fair chance...
- ... while still completing his 7 hour flight with no delay.
-If he forgets to readjust his directional gyro, the earth stops rotating to stay in sync.
-If he exceeds Vne, he just keeps accelerating until he is safely above his stall speed again.

He is......the most interesting pilot in the world. Stay current, my friends.

Let's not forget, he's the most interesting pilot in the world, not . Norris....

His circadian rhythms are always synced with UTC.
He once wheel landed a 747.
He flies at FL375
CATSA employees ask him to screen them.
He plotted a 10,000 mile great circle route by using nothing but the sun.

He is, the most interesting pilot in the world.

I don't always fly, but when I do, I prefer Cessna aircraft.

Stay current, my friends.

- He is older than the airplanes he flies
- When flying drunk, his airplane handling is all over the place and cancels out the air turbulence perfectly
- He always manages to take of exactly at his MTOW
- Airbus gives up on automation because they can not even come close to his level of precision
- He can tow a pipercub with his glider
- He is from Belgium

He is the most interesting pilot in the world. Stay current, my friends.

He has three lunar landings as pilot in command
He flew the SR-71 inverted across the Atlantic in his last mission
He landed a U2 in Russia so he could have a drink of Vodka with Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev.
He had a six month affair with Castro’s wife.
He hates Old Milwaukee beer
He can uncork a 12 second, 4 note, 3 octave fart at will
He shit his pants once doing one of the above.

He is the most interesting pilot in the world. Stay current, my friends.

The thread makes better reading while listening to the above link in a new window.

It also magically sounds all around during his job interview.
He violates TC inspectors for not knowing the regs.
Even Colonel Sanders has learned a thing or two from him.

-JetsGo paid him for his training bond.
-He's laid off four companies from his payroll
-3 Transport inspectors agreed with him and each other.
-his beard alone has more experience than all of Transport.
-His personality is so magnetic your compass always points to him.

I don't always bullshit on Aviation Forums but when I do I prefer Avcanada.

-When he requests Special VFR it's just called VFR
-He once delivered a baby in flight, and still passed his ride
-He must keep the seat belt sign on to prevent spontaneous standing ovations

Wow I think I know him!

He's the guy that comes in to the Museum for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays to correct the history and show which rivets are in the wrong place on the aircraft.

Ends each visit by touring the tour guides and instructing the instructors.

Amazing

Rocks get out of the way when he taxis on a lake
Other pilots buy him beer when he leaves his rudders down in flight
He pumps the lake into his floats every morning, to be fair to the other guys

He is... the most interesting seaplane pilot in the world.

Stay current (on floats) my friends.

He prefers Dehavilland over Cessna.
He once hand started a cold R1340 using only his pinky finger.
Women want to be with him, and rampies aspire to be him.
He once passed an IFR check ride blind folded.
Docking in a 25 knot offshore wind is not considered a challenge to him.
To him the term "Otter Back" is nothing more than a light morning workout.
He doesn't shave often but when he does he applies 100LL as aftershave.

He is the most interesting bush pilot in the world.

Stay current my friends.

-When conflicting traffic is asking to please advise, they're hoping its him.
-He gives clearances to ATC, and they accept.
-Maverick can be his wingman.
-He can do a zurabatic cartwheel in a single engined airplane.
-Other pilots log dual when he's a passenger.
-When he doesn't say "any conflicting traffic please advise" other pilots stop saying it too.
-Student pilots get better when he's watching them... From the ground.
-Transport does his licensing before their maximum service time.

He is... the most interesting pilot in the world.

Stay current my friends.

Some say when he wired his shed, he did it entirely in left hand circuits... or that he personally has something to do with it being called a cockpit.

All we know is... He's called the Fourbars!

Some say that he has Jeppesen Plates on the back of his eyelids. And that he has an irrational fear of the mixture control. All we know is..... he's not the Stig.... but he is the Stig's aviating cousin!

When flying at night, he aims green lasers at teenagers in their parents' basement.

When arriving at a new airport, he gives a water cannon salute to the firetrucks as he passes by.

In the event of a cabin depressurization, he assists all passengers with their oxygen masks before securing his own.

He never squawks Ident; He tells ATC that they've been identified.

Transport Canada had to change the questions on the PSTAR: even balloons must give him the right of way.

When landing on an aircraft carrier, he doesn't call the ball; the ball calls him.

He is the most interesting pilot in the world.
