Hi Members, I'm buying my first Logbook but Have no idea witch one to get. I check out Ebay and there is so many.
Any recommendations ?
Is there a app or online software we can use to log hrs, any recommendations?
How much should I invest in a book?

A software logbook? Don't invest anything but your time filling it out. A spreadsheet is much more useful, and can be programmed to calculate your currency numbers as well. If you don't have Excel, surf on over to OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice.org and download their Microsoft-compatible office suite. It'll do everything you need.
For a hardcopy logbook, just pick one you like the size and shape of. And a recommendation from someone who is about to fill his first book: Buy one that you'll be able to buy again in a few years. Or buy a half-dozen of them. That way they'll all be the same on your shelf when they're all filled up.

I always buy the Canadian Pilot's Logbook from VIP Pilot. Just about every Canadian supplier and flight school carries them.... and they are pretty high quality and well laid out.
I don't bother with the professional one because I don't log that many hours... and I like a fresh book every couple of years.
Software... +1 Excel spreadsheet is the easiest.... I just couldn't bring myself to spend $50+ on something like Log Ten Pro.

Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

If you use software, just make sure you take regular backups.

Use an excel sheet, you can customize it however you want, and add more as you learn excel.
For backups, I just email it to myself every few months.
