TALEO - how does it work ?

strangely enough, here is the question.
After you've submitted an app you can log in and the options "View/Edit - Withdraw" are available.
After a while I've noticed that the option "withdraw' is not there anymore.
That happens on several sites powered with Taleo.
what could it mean ?

Hey Scopiton, I'm trying to read your message over and over to see if this is a trick question....what could it mean? well at first glance, I would say it means that for a time you can edit your details but then at some point it cannot be withdrawn as someone at Jazz or whomever you are applying to has received your resume...trick question or impossibly easy?
