foreign looking for training

Post by sky_penetrator »

Hello,

Two months pass my 25th birthday and after breaking the fear of heights by doing some jumps  , I've started looking for a career change after my boring days as a safety officer in our HOT (overpopulated) tiny island. So I was looking for a PPL course as a beginning but I came across the Air Georgian Cadet Program.
What I need to know is, if my application was to be accepted, how good is the program compared to the 'classic' training method, experience/career -wise, within and outside of Canada. And how is the environment for a foreign trainee and a pilot on job, will I be getting the telepathic "Go back home"?

Thanks.

My post may have sounded politically incorrect now that I read it again.. but I'm just looking for mere truthful opinions before deciding a big step, and I've read most posts regarding training facilities and industry challenges. My main interests are a change in lifestyle from my everyday environment, the further from a city the better if possible, and gaining good experience ofcourse with a lovely retirement in nature :).

I appreciate every word.

There's a sticky at the top of the employment forum it should give you some basic knowledge about what is required to legally work as a pilot in Canada.
