Tailwheel machine to rent Vancouver, Cub, Scout, etc.
Hi, looking to rent a small tailwheel machine just for fun, maybe a bit of mountain flying, land on the odd beach etc. I am a commercial pilot with tailwheel/float experience and some off airport time, know how to look after a machine as I have quite a bit of wrench time in the hanger.
Will consider most types, can make deals with block time or come to some agreement, Happy to fly from Pitt, Boundary bay, langley or Abbotsford, or somewhere close. Basically I am dreaming of owning a cub but the dream is all I can afford, message me and I will get back to you ASAP.

Oh may consider a share of a machine in the future if it was the right set up.

There's a Piper Vagabond for sale at Langley right now. $10K. It would be a great little two-place time-builder. There are ads on the bulletin boards at Langley, if you need it I can take a photo of them and post/email. Shoot me a private message and i'll get you the contact info.
The only catch is, it hasn't flown in 10 years. At a minimum, you'd want new tires and someone to look at the engine. It's been hangared all this time so the structure should be good.

It might be. But it might not, too. We do have *some* dry hangars on the wet coast.iflyforpie wrote:Engine will be f-ed with that time frame in that climate.
