Vanderhoof Airshow
The show was on last Saturday and I must say I was very impressed. Lots of great acts, awesome people and unbelievable support from the community. I am most definitely going back next year !
Re: Vanderhoof Airshow
My first airshows I attended as a kid were there. I really enjoyed them.
Not much else to do in Hooterville though!

Re: Vanderhoof Airshow
Unfortunately I was unable to make it as I'm presently out of the country, the first airshow I ever attended was in Vanderhoof when I was a small child and I would love to go back to a show there.
This topic reminded me of a conversation I had several years back. I was at a meet and greet/networking event during a conference in Victoria and I would up chatting with a guy from Pennsylvania (if I recall correctly) who flew with the Civil Air Patrol. We were talking about where we were from and when I mentioned that I was from Prince George he exclaimed "That's near Vanderhoof!". He went on to tell me about back when he was in the Air National Guard he flew a C-130 there for several air shows. He said (in his thick Southern drawl) "We called it going Vanderhoofin', and we liked going Vanderhoofin'!"
